Treat your wedding photographer the way you want to be treated!

It is often being omitted that a good wedding photographer will always want only the best for you. Just like a good friend, your photographer will always be there by your side. The only difference is that he will not try to interfere (well, except for posed pictures of course!) in any of your personal matters.

Keep in mind that what goes around comes around and in order to be treated in a friendly manner by your photographer, you need to behave in the same way! It’s your memories encapsulated in wedding photos at stake here, so

Your wedding photographer is not your enemy! His top priority is for you to enjoy the day! It would be highly unprofessional of him to cut into your wedding with some demands or to suggest another boring posed picture. At Dolinny Photography we especially tend to avoid interfering during the reception. Instead we love to capture the real and raw emotions, the things that make you, YOU! For this however, we need your trust.

We need you to let us do the work, and believe us – we know what to do to achieve that desired effect of genuinity and authenticity, the so called WOW factor. We need to relax, take a deep breath and simply enjoy yourself so that we can capture it. And take our word for it – coming back to your wedding album ten or twenty years after that special day will be so much better if the pictures show the true picture of you!

If you go an extra mile to develop a closer relation with your wedding photographer, it will be paid off with a much more personal set of pictures. Also, if you allow the photographer to capture the true you, he will do the same to you by putting his or her soul into your photographs. Well – either way it’s a win-win and we think that the best way to sum this post up in a single sentence would be to say that you get what you give!
